Club Barcelona decided to test players for Coronavirus on the club’s training ground on Wednesday before restarting individual training in the coming days.
After ease of some restrictions by the Government, permission has been given to La Liga teams to resume training this week.
Barcelona said that league gave the go-ahead for testing after checking the facilities at their training ground.
La Liga is aiming June for the restart of the season.
Players from the top two divisions will train individually after an agreement take place with Spain’s Sports and health authorities that assured the safety of players and staff.
Football was postponed all over Spain in March due to coronavirus pandemic and all players will tested before they return to training grounds.
Spain top division has formed complete procedures for the resume of training so proper health safety measure are observed.
This involves training session distributed in phases, individual to small groups and then team training
“These measures cover a period of approximately four weeks with different phases that, in any case, will be subject to the de-escalation process established by the government,” a La Liga statement read.
Barcelona leading the table with two points ahead of Real Madrid. There are eleven rounds of matches remaining.
