The Bundesliga or die Fußball-Bundesliga is a professional association football league in Germany. Bundesliga started in 1963 and first season won by FC Koln. Since the founding of Bundesliga 56 clubs have competed so far. Bayern Munich is the most successful club in Bundesliga whether Dortmund, Monchengladbach, Werder Bremen, Hamburger & Stuttgart also win the title more than twice.

It played from August to May. Each club played with every other club twice, once at home and once away. Originally two points for win, one point for draw and no point is given on loss. Since season 1995-96 three points has been given to winning team and one point for draw.
